It is true! Chocolate is good for you!  Cheesy
However, not just any candy bar will benefit your health.
You want to eat dark chocolate with at least 65% cocoa content. Bars with nuts or flavorings are okay. Avoid bars with caramel or nougat these add fat and sugar.
And don't go overboard and eat the whole bar in one sitting. One square should take care of any chocolate craving. Actually, about 3.5 ounces provides the benefits needed.

Benefits?

Dark chocolate has flavonoids that act as antioxidants and help protect the body from free radicals which can lead to heart disease.  Flavonoids also help lower blood pressure by producing nitric oxide and balancing certain hormones in the body.

Dark chocolate has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol (the bad kind) by up to 10 %.

It also contains serotonin which acts as an anti-depressant

It stimulates endorphin production which gives a feeling of pleasure.

It tastes good.

What's not to love about dark chocolate?  Smiley
