Who would have thought that my 'dream' job would be a 'guy' job??
When I was a little girl I used to daydream of being a gypsy because the idea of wandering the roads appealed to me so much. (I also wanted to be a writer, and I am, but that's another story).
But since I couldn't find a job that paid to wander around the country (because I really wasn't looking in the right place). I ended up job hopping around for years.
My sister (who didn't even pump her own gas, that was her husband's job) used to complain to me "why can't you get a 'girl' job? Instead of all these 'guy' jobs?"
My job history includes a job fueling aircrafts, unloading aircrafts, and working as an EMT for an ambulance company.
A few years before our son graduated high school, my husband got his CDL. When he started coming home from work happy and excited about all the places he'd been ... I realized HE WAS A PAID GYPSY. He had my dream job.
After our son married I got my CDL and joined my husband on the road.
I couldn't wait to see the look on my sister's face when I told her I had the ultimate 'guy' job.

It didn't take me long to realize that this 'guy' job is a woman's DREAM JOB ... no washing dishes, no housecleaning, no taking out the trash ... no wonder more and more woman are joining the men out on the road.
Getting paid to cruise around the country and no household chores for weeks on end???
Hey! The secret is out!!!!
