I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to the forum . My name is Dan and I go by LittleMr and hail from Naperville , IL just west of Chi town . I started driving runnin 6 whlr dumps and concrete mixers and once I hit 21 I hit the road !!! Here I am 16 years later and still living my childhood dream of being a truckdriver . I have been both a company driver as well as an o/o on 2 different occasions . I have been sidelined since early 2006 after a nasty car accident on my way home from parking my truck . It was 2 am and I was the only one on the road , but by God this idiot didn't see me and pulled in front of me while I was doing 50 mph . I was not at fault but I am still paying the price 3 years later having surgery on my neck for the 3rd time Febuary 3 , 2009 . I will be in a hard collar for 3 months in hopes this fusion of vertebrae heals completely , unlike the previous two surgeries!!! This will make a total of 5 major surgeries in that time and God willing I will be able to get back on the road by years end . Being a single guy and stuck at home climbing the walls since 06 , I am at my wits end and feel like a caged lab rat ! I cannot wait to get back on the road and will probably stay out a year to catch up on lost time ! Ah yes , trucking .... my favorite headache ! I am thinking of trying tankers when I get better instead of going back to reefers , what do ya think ? Nice to meet ya'all and stay safe out there .  LittleMr
